Have u been searched by a drug dog in any form at LAX international airport?

I am on an outgoing international flight at LAX international heading to Tokyo. I was wondering if drug dogs are used at all. In my handful of times flying out of LAX international, ive never once encountered a dog...however things may have changed -- its been at least 2 years since ive flown out of LAX.

And I'm not talking about simply 'seeing' them walkin around the airport with

a cop..........I'm talkin before boarding the plane 'every passenger form a straight line so we can have the dog sniff you' kind of stuff.

It should be obvious why im asking this, so the mostserious, intelligent input will be greatly appreciated.

Remember, im specifically talking about international (not domestic) flights leaving the U.S. at LAX.

Drug dogs are normally used on incoming flights, the dogs on outgoing flights are normally looking for explosives.

I have never seen a group lined up for an inspection.

You may be swabbed, ie a small tissue rubbed over your bags and placed in a machine, these machines will tell if you have been near any drugs/explosives or had contact with someone that has.

Your checked luggage will be checked behind the scenes before it gets loaded.

Leave any recreationial pharmaceuticials at home, there are too many people looking for them at airports.
