I am flying to Oahu, HI from Lax Airport is there anything I should know?

Having made the trip twice on United, last trip was about fifteen years ago, bring a good book, or be ready to catch up on some sleep, but remember Hawaii is about three hours later than L.A.

The flight takes about six hours. I slept most of the way, once and the next time I watched the movie and chatted with fellow plane mates.

i flew that route in Oct 2005 on United airlines it was about 6 hours long but luckily it was a big plane it went by quick but remember to bring your own headphones for their movies and music on the plane plus i ate the food on the plane and we all got sick i think it was old plus we had to pay for it have fun

it's a REALLY long flight. bring lots of things to do. i flew from MD to LAX to HI and thats always long in itself. Just bring stuff to do so you don't get bored. iPod is always my #1 choice along with books, gum, and colored pencils. Doodling is always fun.

It sounds like a long boring flight. Take some magazines or crossword puzzles. Have fun in Hawaii!!!!
