I have a Priority Pass and they are not affiliated with any specific airline, it also doesn't make any difference which airline you are flying on to be able to use the Priority Pass, but as you know, you are restricted to certain lounges. If you are an elite AAvantage member or flying 1st or business class you can use the American Airlines lounge otherwise you will need to use the lounges you mentioned that accept the Priority Pass. Here's a map of LAX, they also provide a free shuttle that will take you to any of the terminals:

American Airlines uses Terminal 4 which is right next to Terminal 5. Good luck.
Take a look at the terminal chart. Usually they will have one posted up and will show you how the terminals are connected. You practically can't miss the giant terminal maps they put up everywhere. But becareful though, one time I was in a terminal that look connected but they weren't. I had to take a trolley all the way around. But I think that was like Dallas airport or something.
Well you are in luck. I dont know if you would still be able to use them but American Airlines use Terminal 4.
Like I said, I have no idea if you can still use the lounge but I wouldnt as you would have to check in, change terminal, go to the lounge, go back, then line up for security ect.
Good Luck anyway
You may or may NOT be able to do it. I also have Priority Pass, but one of the "gotchas" is that you will have to leave the "secure" side of the airport to get over to Terminal 3 or Terminal 5.
The exception is that American USED to have a shuttle that would go between T4 and T3 on the tarmac. However, that was when they still had gates at both terminals. I think they have consolidated them now. However, it doesn't hurt to ask once you are at the airport.
