The best way to get directly from LAX to Downtown LA-Union Station is on the Flyaway shuttle, although its not free. It should be less than $5 for the ride. Once you get to Union Station, you can get to USC area on a bus and Koreatown on the Red Line metro light rail. You can get an all day pass ($5) that you can use on any metro bus or light rail, as well as the subway.
well from lax there is a "Free shuttle that will take to the metro green line (where you can take the Green Line/Blue line into downtown LA (board the lax "G" shuttle for the Green line
there also a free shuttle to the city bus center
(take the LOTC bus for that)
then from the City bus center Line 42 goes near USC
(the flyaway is a good idea expect it only goes to Union station
it doesnt stop anywhere else)
The LAX free shuttles will take you to the bus depot and to the metrorail (subway) and then you have to pay. But its only $5.00 for an all day pass. When you arrive you will be on the lower level and close to the baggage claim area in ALL terminals you will see a Travelers Aid booth. See them and they will give you information on how to get where you want to go. There is also a bus called the Flyaway and goes to several places close to where you might like to go. And its $4.00. Catch this bus under the Green sign and the other "free" shuttles under the Blue sign
The Flyaway is only $4, which will take you to Union station. It's on the lower level. Just look for the green signs.
No such thing as free....
however some hotels have complimentary shuttle... but nothing to DT LA..... That's a 1 hour drive on a good day.... just pay $20 bucks for the airport shuttle to dt....
