Does anyone know if I can ride my bicycle into (Lax) airport?

does anyone know If there is way I can ride my bike into the airport?

as I dont drive and none of the lax shuttles have bike racks

on them

then I want to take it with me on airplane

You see I'm hoping to ride the bike to the airport

get a bike box from the airline and the ship the bike with me on the flight I'm taking

this can be done, but i'm sure it's pretty pricey.

if i were you i would call the airline before hand to make sure they know what you need to do and whatnot.

Yes, you can ride your bike into LAX but since there are no bike lanes it can be dangerous. Also realize that a bike is "oversize" luggage and expect to pay at least $100.00 each way to be able to take it with you on the plane. Check with your airline.

Are you sure you would not rather take the bus? And rent a bike wherever you are going. Because really, you and your fellow passengers would rather not be on a plane with someone who has just ridden a bike for a good number of miles just before boarding.
