What's the cheapest way to get from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the Los Angeles Cruise Port?

We're going to be driving from Phoenix to LAX in a rental car to pick up a cruise from the Los Angeles Cruise Port and we're trying to figure out a cheap way to get between the two (LAX and the cruise port), both ways.......

"Travelgirl218" is correct. Supershuttle would be the quickest way there, and cheaper than taking a taxi.

To check up on your driver, you will go south on I-405, south on Ca-110, exit Gaffy Street under the Vincent Thomas Bridge to the Cruise terminal.

Just curious. If your cruise isn't that long, why not just keep the car? A couple days rental will be about the same as the shuttle ride, but if it's a longer cruise turning it in would be more economical.

PS: I'm willing to bet that you are going to get someone suggesting you use public transportation, the RED line and the GREEN line, and this bus, and that bus. That is too confusing for people who are not intimately knowledgeable about the area. Stick with the "Shuttle".

well you use Public transit and its just 3 buses

you first take the G Bus to the Aviation Terminal

(pay $1.25 or get a day pass for $3.00)

then take the Green Line to the Harbor freeway stop

then go upstairs to the freeway stops and board a line 446

bus to San Pedro,,

Either super Shuttle, Prime time or a town car.

I would try super shuttle

You may also want to find out from the cruise line what they would charge to add transfers on from LAX airport to the port
