The best and easiest way(affordable too) to go to "LOS ANGELES GREYHOUND STAT 1716 E 7TH ST, from LAX Airport?

Is there any shuttle, train or bus service from LAX (Los Angeles) Airport to GREYHOUND STA ,1716 E 7TH ST, Los Angeles ? like we have transport services from JFK or La Guardia. I checked its 19 miles from LAX Airport. How much is for cab from airport?please Help. Thanks in advance, and promise for 5 stars.

From what I gather, you live in New York, and you want to travel to Victorville to visit your sister. You would also like to save as much money as possible.

Travel hints that may help:

Purchase your airline ticket as far in advance as possible, and directly from the airlines website. Delta seems to be the lowest. (14 & 21 day discounts. No travel agents commissions).

Pack light. No more than two suitcases. Victorville is in the desert, it gets very hot. You won't need warm clothing there.

Greyhounds L.A. terminal is in one of the more dangerous areas of town. Don't wonder around outside. To get there from LAX use either the shuttle service or the Fly away bus to Union Station, then city bus to greyhounds terminal.(they run every 20 minutes).

There is no rail service to Victorville, it's Greyhound or nothing.

When you go back home to New York, I assume your sister will drive you to the airport (probably Ontario).

Just as a wild thought, consider flying to Las Vegas, cab to the Greyhound terminal at 200 Main Street, and Greyhound to Victorville. Roughly the same price, all things taken into account. Less "hastle".

why would you take Greyhound when they leave you

stranded? and have very crowded bus where you have to stand

for hours on end, or have a restroom that overflows spilling

sewage all over the floor or have a bus catch fire

or be a station when the regular run pulls though packed

to gills you are told that there will be another bus along

:"shortly! 11 hours later one comes -that's short?

now do you still want to take Greyhound?

Stay away from Cabs-tooooo much money-there is an AIRPORTER Bus that goes downtown to the Bus Station- check the info center at the airport- also, call SUPERSHUTTLE and ask about prices...

OK, I work at LAX and heres the plan. When you arrive you will be on the lower level. Get your luggage and go outside. Overhead you will see different colored signs. Go to the Orange overhead sign. You will see 2 people, one with a blue jacket (Supershuttle) and one with a red/black jacket (Primetime Shuttle). Just tell them where you are going and they will get you there. Its much cheaper than a Taxi. My guess is $15 to $25. A taxi would be about $40 to $50. All terminals have an Orange sign. Check at the Travelers Aid booth if you are unsure about where to find the orange sign. They are located in every terminal.

Why do you need to go to the grayhound staion? You can travel much safer on the Amtrak or metrolink. Just look for the GREEN signs for the flyaway bus that will take you to Union Station for the measly cost of $3 ($4 beginning July 1).

From there, you can take Amtrak almost anywhere that grayhound will go. If you must, you can either walk or take a cab from there to Grayhound.

Cab fare will be around $42. Take the flyaway.
