Los Angeles Airport (LAX) how to go from there to 12400 WILSHIRE BLVD. # 300 (Italian Consulate)?

I need to go from L.A airport (LAX) to the Italian Consulate 12400 WILSHIRE BLVD. # 300

could anyone tell me exactly (step by step) how to get there by a public transportation (no taxi)

Please avoid stupid answers as "walking" , "riding a horse" ecc.

thanks

I work at LAX. The best way is to take a Shuttle. (Yes Taxi's are the most expensive). So the shuttle is much more reasonable. Sorry, I am not sure of the price. When you arrive you will be on the lower level. Outside there are different colored signs. Go to the Orange sign. The dispatchers (employees) are right there. Every terminal has an Orange sign. Ask them the price. There are two. Super Shuttle and Primetime Shuttle. Their prices are almost identical. You can also take bus. It would cost very little, but takes longer. Go to... www.mta.net and put in LAX and your address and it will give you exact directions. To catch a bus...go to the Blue sign and get on shuttle bus "C". This is a free shuttle that will take you from the airport to the bus depot that is right outside the airport. The bus is $5.00 for an all day pass. About $1.50 to $2.25 for one way.

Okay from any lax terminal you first board a Lot C bus take

this to the city bus terminal ((sometime the driver will

let off before the bus turns into the lax

then you walk to 96th/Vicksburg

here you have a choice of buses to take

you could board a (Blue Bus) Santa Monica line #3 (or the Rapid 3)

pay this driver $1.50 (thats 75cents for the fare and 50cents for the transfer) take this into Santa Monica (get off at 4th and Santa Monica blvd and at same stop board Santa ,Monica

line #2 take this bus to Wilshire at McClellan

and your destination is right there

the other option is to take Culver city (Green bus)

pay this driver $1.00 ask for inter-agency transfer

then take this bus to Veturn and Wilshire (or Lindbrook/Westwood)

cross the street then board Santa Monica line 2 to your destination

note route might take a little longer due to traffic in Westwood
