How do I prepay a friends airfare from accra Ghana to lax airport?

You DO know that people who do this, are usually very disappointed when the person who promised to come to the U.S. if they only had an airline ticket... will TAKE THAT $3000 and you will never hear from them again. People have been using this scam for at least 10 years now and they used to come from Nigeria... now they are pulling the same scam from Ghana and the Philippines... but it's STILL A SCAM

Ghana citizens must APPLY FOR A VISA to the U.S. and that takes a long time to get because the number of openings for people from Ghana is very low. They can't just hop on a plane in Ghana and fly to LAX and walk through Customs and Immigration... if you don't believe me, the contact the INS office in L.A.

You can purchase the ticket yourself, with a credit card would be best, so that if it is cancelled, the money would go back to your credit, as oppose cash given to the person. I agree with answerer #1, be careful.

I don't know the exact details but I agree with the previous answerer. Be careful hooking people up with expensive flights!

Use your credit card.. airlines will refund you the money if the ticket's cancelled or not used.
