I want to fly from LA to Louisville I know i have to connect (change planes) but whats a better airport to Maj the changes in?
I have a choice of Denver, (probably on Continental ,Airtran or Frontier) Chicago (on either United or American, Cincinnati (On Delta), Charlotte (on US airways),
Dallas (American (yikes!) or Atlanta,(on Delta),
thanks for any assistance!
having flown into most of those...i'd choose Charlotte...IF you didn't have to backtrack...as it is...i'd choose Denver - less congestion than others - 2nd choice Atlanta.
stay away from Dallas & Chicago
Happy Flying!
The smaller the airport the better for connections.
At bigger airports there is more congestion and a bigger
chance something will go Wrong and you will miss your flt.
All other things equal, I would skip all of these. Midwest is a great airline and connects through Milwaukee, which is smaller and much less congested than the airports that you list. I would also consider Continental through Houston. Northwest via Memphis is also an option. I hate Northwest, but Memphis is better than than the mega-airports.
I would definitely try to avoid Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas. Cincinnati and Charlotte are the least congested airports on your list.
